NDU Pre-degree Admission Form Out 2017/2018
This is to inform you that the Niger Delta University (NDU)  Pre-degree Admission Form  is out. Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission to the Pre-degree Programmes for 2017/2018 session. 

The Programme leads to the award of the Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) Certificates which enables candidates to gain Direct Entry Admission to 200 level of the degrees offered by the Niger Delta University and other JUPEB affiliated Universities in Nigeria and Universities abroad. 

The JUPEB Certificate is equivalent to the Advance 
Level GCE or the Old Higher School Certificates (HSC) or IJMB. 

For admission into the Niger Delta University and o
ther JUPEB affiliate institutions, each candidate, in addition to passing the prescribed JUPEB examination for issuing the Direct Entry Certificates, must satisfy all admission requirements prescribed 
by Departments and Faculties of choice. 

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
Candidates seeking admission to the JUPEB Pre-degree Programmes must possess a minimum of 5 credit passes in at least Five (5) subjects at “O” Level, including English Language and Mathematics at not more than 2 sittings in the GCE, SSCE (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB).

DURATION OF PROGRAMME
The duration of the study is one Academic Session of two Semesters. It is strictly a non-residential programme.

(a)Go to any Diamond Bank branch in Nigeria.
Purchase an e-pin slip for Niger Delta University Pre-degree Programme for a fee of Fifteen Thousand Naira (N15,000.00). The University will not subsidize other charges such as bank charges.

(b) After Payment Go online and log onto www.ndu.edu.ngand click on Apply for pre-degree.

In addition, this programme also prepares Senior Secondary School (SS III) students and other school leavers for the NECO and WAEC Examination.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

  • Applicants must have five ‘O’ level credits relevant to the proposed course of study including English Language. 
  • Admission is open to candidates that are awaiting t
  • he release of the most recent WAEC and NECO School Certificate Examination results as well as those who have attempted and are still preparing to sit for these exams again. However, admission to Degree Programmes in the University will also depend on candidate’s performance in the current JAMB.

Policy on Payment of School Fees For Niger Delta University  – 2016/17

Niger Delta University, [NDU] policy on payment of school fees for the 2016/2017 academic session.

This is to notify all the students of the Niger Delta University [NDU], that the Committee of Provost and Deans at it's 103rd meeting held of Tuesday, May 23, 2017 discussed on the modalities for the payment of fees/ charges and decided that:

  • Registration of students should commence after full payment of 100% fees within he first one month of resumption for all levies.
  • However, if students are unable to meet condition in (i) above, they shall be allowed to pay twice in a session.
  • The first installment of 60% fees /charges should be paid within the first month of the first semester.
  • The balance of 40% to be paid not later than the first month of the second semester to complete the outstanding fees/ charges.
  • All students should note that henceforth registration of courses depends on 100% full payment or 60% installment payment of fees; charges as stipulated.
